In brief: It

It is possible to make minor corrections with retainers.
Since every person is unique it would be necessary to see an orthodontist for an evaluation. There are many options today for treating malocclusions, including invisalign aligners. Make sure you see a specialist in orthodontics who has completed their education at an accreditated university. Dr. Johnson is a board certified orthodontist - this means he has gone the extra step in a certification process that demonstrates the orthodontist's pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

In brief: By

By definition, a retainer holds the teeth in place and does not change them. The best way to find the simplest treatment for your problem would be to schedule an appointment with a specialist in orthodontics in your locale.
At that appointment your problem can be assessed, treatment appropriate to correct the problem discusses and arrangement with the office determined.
