In brief: Yep.

Yep. You probably have what's called a boxer's fracture.
It most commonly occurs not in boxers but in people who have punched walls or wooden beams. What's likely broken in the bone that connects your pinkie finger to your wrist, and possibly also the one next to it. If so, you need a cast. If you don't treat it, you could wind up with a permanent deformity in your hand.

You should seek medical attentin including an xray of your hand.
Ehile you may just have swelling and associated triggering of a digit, you need to have fracture ruled out. You mught try calling your pcp and get sent for an xray rather than rush to the er but if you can't get that done then yes certainly an er or an urgernt care center will be able to provide you the service that i mention. If you have a dislplaced fracture you may need to see a hand surgeon for definitive care the most common fracture in this scenario is a fracture of the metacarpal neck , loosely referred to in the little finger metacarpal as a fighters fracture or boxers fracture ( although technically these eponyms are not the same injury). However a fracture of the fifth or little finger metacarpal is angulated or displaced commonly needs a reduction ( to be put back into place. ) if your hand is swollen it may make it more difficult ot get the bone back i nplace so besides taking care of this soon to rule out a fracture, use of ice and elevation usually helps for otherwise healthy individuals who have no other issues fracture or no fracture if you have a cut ( especially if it from a tooth) ie you didnt hit a door but someone else that cut over a fracture or that cut if it is from a tooth needs immediate attention and then yes go to er right away.
