In brief: Yes

When a blood vessel breaks, platelets stick together and start the clotting process.
Serotonin on the surface of the platelets is involved in this process. Celexa (citalopram) and other antidepressants which effect serotonin may alter clotting, and lead to bruising. If this happens to you, tell your doctor. You may need to adjust your dose of Aspirin and/or celexa, (citalopram) check for a bleeding problem, or change meds.

In brief: Celexa (citalopram)

Rare, dose-dependent, also depends on length of time used & what other medications are taken simultaneously that could affect blood clotting.

In brief: POSSIBLY

There may be some blood thinning that can occur with interaction with platelet function.
Check with your physician especially if already on blood thinners etc.
