If . If the other eye is good, should not need to be off of work for more than a week. However, he may not get functional vision from the transplanted cornea for 3-6 months.
Depending . Depending on your husband occupation, the time needed off from work can vary. Most patients may return to work quickly (ie approximately 1 week) but if he has to perform very heavy lifting and/or strenuous activities at work it could be longer.
