Yes. It is listed as a category b drug, safe in pregnancy and later safe in breast feeding.
Humalog (insulin lispro) Do not take Humalog (insulin lispro) or any other diabetes medication unless you have diabetes!!! If you have diabetes let your doctor help you with the best treatment options.
It's really good. Humalog (insulin lispro) is a brand of rapid-acting Insulin produced by eli lilly & co. Here in the usa. It is given at meals (or in an Insulin pump), to provide quick-onset action to control blood sugars at meals. There are a couple of other brands of rapid-acting Insulin on the market (novolog, apidra), but they all have about the same action.

Should not. Unless you are storing them differently. Have your endocrinologist check it out.
Can I take ferrous gluconate and my Humalog (insulin lispro) at the same time? If not, how long do I have to wait til I take my insulin?
Yes. You can take them at the same time. One is taken orally an the other is injected. No interactions.
I'm using humalog (insulin lispro) mix 25 & geting tightness & pain in my chest suddenly when I go outside or walk briskly or use stairs, & same happen with Humulin N?
Chest pain: see a Dr. Chest pain or tightness in anyone with diabetes could be a heart attack or a precursor to one. Please go see a doctor today to be evaluated! Avoid exerting yourself until you see a doctor. Later, your doctor can adjust your diabetes medicine if needed. Take care of your heart first!
Humalog overdose. Too much.
Depends. It would depend on several factors - overdose by how much, degree of Insulin resistance, blood sugar at time of overdose, patient's ability to detect low blood sugar and availability if food/drink to treat hypoglycemia. I've had patients take 50 units more than they should have (took wrong insulin) who survived unscathed.
Insulin #: Test strips container shows--1 unit if 187-253, if using KwikPen Humalog (insulin lispro) U-100. But, my Dr. Says 2 units if 200-250. Please, what do I do?
Diabetes care. You should see an Endocrinologist who will give you much better advice. In general it is a pre-meal rapid dose and a nighttime long-acting medicine.
