Is there a good way to cure bruxism in children, is it a habit you can get rid of?

1 doctor agrees
In brief: No
Bruxism in children is not a stress habit nor a habit to try and find a comfortable position for there bite.
It is a neuromuscular electical habit that just occurs in some children. It can make there teeth look like they have disappear and sometimes depending upon the situation the dentist may have to make something similar to a denture and cement in place.

In brief: Sleep bruxism
Sleep bruxism is a sleep related movement disorder that we seem to be born with.
It is not a habit as opposed to awake bruxism. Therefore, sleep bruxism can not be cured, it must be managed.
