Do men need to take hormones after breast reduction? My husband is self-conscious of his noticeable breasts. He has read that more and more men are choosing breast reduction. Would need also need to have his hormone levels checked and possibly take medica

Check before surgery. I would check his hormone levels prior to surgery and treat only if elevated.
No. His plastic surgeon will discus his therapy. It doesn't usually include hormones.
No, . No, he would not need to have his hormone levels checked or take medications after surgery. Just as in women who have breast reduction, removing the tissue is permanent, although if patients have significant weight gain after the surgery the remaining tissue can enlarge, so he will just need to avoide weight gain.
