In brief: Nasal symptoms

Salt water washes twice daily, humidifier in bedroom, air purifier, consider otc antihistamines although I am never a fan of patients treating themselves since they typically don't know all of the in's and out's of why we prescribe meds the way we do.

In brief: Besides

Besides taking other the counter (otc) cough and cold medications, some things you can try at home would be the use of a humidifer or cool mist vaporizer.
This will help mainly with your nasal symptoms. Warm tea with lemon or ginger can help soothe a sore throat ot hoarse voice along with warm salt water gargling. Remember plenty of rest is also key, and don't forget to drink lots of fluids. If you feel like your symptoms are worsening or prolonged, a trip to your doctor may be necessary.
