In brief: Vitamins on skin
Retin - a is a topical vitamin a derivative.
Tretinoin long term can help even skin tone, help improve dermal collagen, smoothen rough surfaces and even decrease precancerous growths. Taking something internally to improve the skin is wishful thinking and has not been proven to help, unless someone is deficient in the vitamin, such as scurvy (vit c). Taking more of what's normal is not helpful.

In brief: Prevent perhaps...
A well balanced diet and healthy living (avoiding tobacco, excessive sugars, alcohol, etc) will help keep you looking better longer. Unfortunately, you won't find any oral foods/supplements which will help get rid of wrinkles you already have.
There are some topical treatments, like Retin-A which are worth using to help improve your appearance however. See a qualified facial plastic surgeon...

In brief: Vitamin A Derivative
Derivatives of vitamin a (tretinoin, retin-a, retinol) are used as topical skincare treatments that help to promote the turn-over of skin cells allowing newer skin cells to reach the surface.
Over time these treatments may in fact help to minimize fine "etched" lines on the skin. These prescription medications are best used with the guidance of a skin care professional. Look at obagi for info...

In brief: No
Although there is increasing evidence that nutrition helps maintain healthy skin, it is preventative.
Polyophenol antioxidants suchas those found in berries, red wine, and pigmented fruits and vegetables are best.

In brief: No
Foods and vitamins can not reverse wrinkles but eating well and using bhrt can help the way your skin ages.
Eat low glycemic since it is less inflamamtion and using hormones that promote collagen and elastin are great.

In brief: Antioxidants
There is some evidence to suggest that proper intake (debated) of vitamins with antioxidant activity may help diminish the risk of developing skin damamge and wrinkles.

In brief: Not really
I was going to answer "no" and then i remembered that retin a (tretinoin) is a vitamin a derivative.
This is a prescription cream which can help to peel away the dead layers of the skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Good health, overall, can improve skin tone but avoiding smoking and sun exposure is much more important than certain foods or vitamins.

In brief: In some degree
Ingestion of collagen and antioxidants has been associated with improvement of skin texture and reduced wrinkles.
This is more effective as a prevention rather than a cure and also more effective in a young skin than an old skin.
