In brief: Get excited

Help your child get excited about this next big step.
In the month before attending school put a little more structure into their day with some time for arts and crafts, reading books, quiet time, practice writing name, etc. This will help prepare them for some of the activities kindergarten will have. If possible figure out what friends will be in their class and schedule a couple play dates.
