In brief: As often as she want

The main thing with children is to use each tooth brushing (usually 2x/day) as a teaching session.
When the child states that she is finished, help instruct her on how to reach difficult areas. Even if you have to guide their hands to do so. Children

In brief: Minimum 2x/day

At least twice daily, 2 full minutes by the clock (play a song on iphone as a timer), with pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
Once your child can spit out, consider using a fluoride-containing kid's toothpaste. And you need to clean between your child's teeth daily, where a toothbrush can't reach.

In brief: At least twice a day

They should brush their teeth a minimum of 2x per day.
In the morning when they get up and before bedtime. It certainly can't hurt to brush after each meal also.

In brief: Twice daily

Teeth brushing should start with the appearance of the first tooth.
Try to get into a pattern of brushing twice a day- morning and evening. Always brush before going to bed- you don't want the sugars and food stuffs staying on their teeth all night! use a pea sized amount of toothpaste on your child's brush and help them learn how to brush all their teeth.
