In brief: Return to his bed
Persistance is the key.
If you sleep soundly, you may not awaken when he slips into your bed, and that cuddly sleep with you reinforces his desire to return. Find some ways to wake up when you have night visitors-there are high tech options, like motion detector lights, and low tech options, like bells on your door. Either way, you must patiently return him to bed.

In brief: Take him/her back
Toddlers & older kids who migrate to their parents bed are a problem. They are mistical at that age and complain about the boogy man etc.
If you want your privacy & kids that stay in their room be creative. It's ok if you "put a protective spell"over the room to banish all boogie men, evil monkies, whatever. Its ok to reward them by keeping their door open if they stay, closed if not.Be firm & patient.
