In brief: BM biopsy

It is when they either use your sternum or hip to remove a sample of the bone marrow and reviewit under the microscope.
It is painful so ask about pre-treatment.

In brief: A

A bone marrow biospsy is a procedure that can be done via a needle (likely in the pelvic bone) to remove bone with the marrow inside so that the specimen can be further observed under a microscope.
This test is used to diagnose and detect blood disorders or cancer/infections in the bone marrow so that your doctor can dtermine a treatment regimen.
