I have a vena cava filter and will have an arteriogram performed tomorrow of the abdomen. Are there risk? I am wondering if the procedure of an arterigram performed will interfere with a vena cava filter that is already in place?

No. . No. The vena cava filter is in the main vein in your abdomen bringing blood back to your heart from your abdomen, pelvis and legs. An arteriorgram involves the arteries so there will be no interference.
I . I support the answer above. The ivc filter is in the vein while an arteriogram involves a catheter and contrast injection in the arteries. These are two separate vascular channels and should not interfere with one another.
