In brief: Unlikely

There are 2 reports of a very slight association of birth defects in children conceived whilst mothers were using spermicides.
However these were retrospective rather than prospective studies, there are many more studies that refute the likelihood of subsequent birth defects.

In brief: No.

As spermicides are uniquely useful to sexually active women at risk of getting pregnant, they would hardly be clinically available if they could cause birth defects, don't you think? Let's give fda some credit.
