Yes. Clomid (clomiphene) has been used for decades to improve intratesticular levels of testosterone which can improve sperm counts.
Usually not. Some men take it, but results are very unpredictable. In my experience Clomid (clomiphene) 'maybe' helps about 1 man in 10-to-20. Some experts have a different experience with the drug. I think all of us would agree that Clomid (clomiphene) is not universally helpful in treating male fertility.
They shouldn't. They shouldn't.
How long should men take clomid (clomiphene)? I'm afraid if I stop, my test, LH & FSH will drop to where it started. But I was able to raise test without hrt
Individual. Assuming this is to boost sperm count in someone with a low count, this is very individual. You must be follower usually by a urologist or fertility specialist who is very knowledgeable in this area because you can cause problems with too much or too little medicine.
NO CLOMID (clomiphene) FOR MEN! I do not use Clomid (clomiphene) on males. In my experience it does not improve sperm, but may cause "man boobs" which must be removed surgically. If you have to shave, and fantasize about sexy looking women--you do not need more testosterone! Too much testosterone causes many physical and psychological problems!
What do you take to make yourself fertile again, prenatal pills or Clomid (clomiphene) or something else?
Advanced age. All women who are older than 35 should be assessed by a specialist in infertility (reproductive endocrinologist) as to why they are infertile. They do not have the luxury of time to waste elsewhere.
Have bin taking GNC fertility drugs for a week now. Can I combine it with clomid (clomiphene)? R take one at a time?
Dont mix. They do not match.
Can I take clomid (clomiphene) with a 35mm cyst on each ovary? If not what fertility drugs can I take
Ans. More history needed here. Why is a 19 yo taking clomid (clomiphene)? Need more information here.
I am on Clomid (clomiphene) (150mg) for fertility issues. Can I take Dulcolax to solve a constipation issue?
Yes. No contraindication. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
I have been prescribed Clomid (clomiphene) am I Able to also take FertilAid or a progesterone cream wcould that decrease my chances of getting pregnant?
I wouldn't. I mean no offense but - FertilAid is a waste of money. I know the website says it works, but read the fine print, even they say there's no proof. Progesterone creams are also fishy and probably not useful for 99% of cases. I recommend strongly that you work with a doctor you trust and NOT try to "do it yourself" with unproven products. Sincerely hope this helps you!
Hello, I would like to know if its ok for a woman who has no fertility problems to take Clomid (clomiphene) if she wishes to have multiple fetal pregnancy?
No. Clomid (clomiphene) is used for women who have problems with ovulation; not regularly releasing an egg. Clomid (clomiphene) does increase the risk of twins in these patients but is never indicated to purposely cause multiples is women that ovulate regularly.
Don't do it! No reasonable person would wish to have any more than one fetus in their womb at a time! By taking unindicated ovulation induction agents you could end up with triplets, quads or even more, some of which may not implant inside your womb and threaten your own life by heterotopic pregnancy. Don't do it!
Not a good idea. Women taking Clomid (clomiphene) for infertility have a 5-10% chance of twins, but this is acceptable because they're taking it for a reason (not getting pregnant on their own). Twins are more high-risk than a single baby - prematurity, short and long-term health problems, more preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, higher chance of c/section. If you don't have difficulty conceiving it's not worth the risk.
