Are there supplements that can improve the health of my prostate?

In brief: Possibly

There are over-the-counter products that one can take to possibly improve prostate health.
These are herbal products, most notably saw palmetto. This is usually in combination with other herbs such as pygeum africanum and others. The studies for the most part do not show much improvement in objective parameters when studied in clinical trials although patients do feel better taking these herbs.

On the other hand, there is now a recent study that there were more cases of prostate cancer in a group of men who were followed over time and who received high doses of anti-oxidants (Vitamin E). This brings up the issue of over-supplementation.
