In brief: Saline Instead

Patients should start with saline sinus rinses.
This is the best type of rinse one can do at home. I have treated countless patients and not needed to recommend peroxide sinus rinse. It can be used in some patients but it should only be done with who are being followed by an ENT who recommends it. Dont try at home otherwise. Peroxide can be very irritating the lining of the nasal passages.

In brief: Rinse

It is a rinsing of the sinus cavity with hydrogen peroxide.
I would only do it under the recommendation and supervision of an otolaryngologist (ent).
