In brief: Control yes

Botox has been show to cause months of improvement in patients with spasmodic dysphonia.
It can be repeated as needed. Other treatments are available. You need to find an ENT who specializes in voice disorders.

In brief: No

There is no cure but good vocal therapy in conjuction with botulinum toxin (botox) injections are helpful and provide a "normal" voice for a period of time.
Often scheduled re-injections is required.
