In brief: No
Peroxide has very limited use in treating anything with the ear. Occasionally it can help soften rock hard wax prior to removing it.
It will not treat infections. See your ENT or pcp for an ear infection.

In brief: Makes it worse
Outer ear infections usually result when swimmers do not get rid of the water in their ear canal.
This over-hydrates the skin, which will crack and expose body serum that germs live on. Peroxide turns to water when it bubbles up.While it could transiently kill some germs, the extra moisture aggravates the problem. If there is a hole in the eardrum, that crap is pushed into sensitive areas.

I don't believe that hydrogen peroxide should be used for the treatment of an external ear infection.
There should be no use of over the counter drops or home remedies without first showing that the ear drum is intact.
