In brief: Short term

These injuries heal.
Once healed, unless significant additional injuries occurred, you should be back to full activity.

In brief: Not usually

Most orbit fractures will heal well even if they need surgical repair. You should avoid contact sports for 6-8 weeks after an orbit fracture to allow time for proper healing.
After an orbit fracture one should always eye protection during sports especially racquet sports or baseball. Discuss this with your surgeon as each case is unique.

In brief: No

You can certainly continue playing sports after an orbital fracture heals or if needed, repaired.
Some orbital fractures can lead to blurred or double vision and this could affect playing some sports. Persistant blurred or double vision following an orbital fracture should be evaluated.
