How can I prevent myself from going stir-crazy? I have tendonitis in my knee. What are the best ways to treat it so i can continue to exercise?

In brief: Cross train

Assuming this is a patellar tendinitis, you need to do more of static exercises to tone the muscles but not to grind the knee through tough motions.
Wall squats are great for this. Also non-impace exercise -- swimming or biking is good. Watch out for spinning classes because they can be very intense on the patellar tendon.
