I've been on so many diets after i had a baby and still no weight loss. I feel like i'm gaining weight. Can not having your periods affect weight loss?

In brief: You may be pregnant

Not having a period after giving birth, and feeling like you are gaining weight may indicate you are pregnant again.
Please check.

In brief: Weight

If you want to lose weight you must take in less than you utilize.
Simple math. If you are not losing weight on these diets, then reduce the amount of caloric intake and increase your level of physical activity. Do away with soft drinks, limit alcohol ingestion and eliminate snacks. Three meals, leaving table satisfied but not stuffed. Not related to your periods.

In brief: Related

Not having your periods does not directly affect weight loss, but could be a sign of something that does.
Unless you are pregnant, post-hysterectomy or post-menopausal, you should be having your period. Please see your doctor if you are not. Otherwise, diets rarely work for weight loss in the long-term. Best way to lose weight is to eat balanced diet and exercise daily.
