In brief: Energy deficit proce

The dying process results from an organ specific or generalized deficit in atp.
A blood clot in a coronary vessel cuts off blood creating hypoxia (low oxygen) which blocks most of the atp formation from the mitochondria. No part of your body can live with an extended lack of atp or lack of oxygen needed for atp. The patient often has increasing fatigue for months ( low atp) before life ends.
