How can a repaired orbital fracture that happened 8 years ago, give me problems now with tingling and numbness?

Orbital fracture. Sensory nerves travel along some bones of the orbit, mainly the infraorbital nerve which travels in the orbital floor and exits under the eye to supply sensation to the cheek, lower eyelid, and upper teeth on that side. The orbital floor is commonly fractured, leading to numbness. However, if a plate was placed to support the floor, it might be shifting and impinging on the nerve. Get it checked.
