In brief: A day to two

It shouldnt take too long for the pain to go away.
Of course, it depends on how many teeth were removed, and the difficulty of the extractions. Were you given pain medication?

In brief: A few days

In most cases the post operative pain from tooth extraction is vastly improved within a few days, and completely gone within a few weeks.
If there is any residual infection or dry socket it may take longer and antibiotics may be necessary to help the healing process. If you had multiple teeth extracted it may take a bit longer than stated above. Nsaid medication like Ibuprofen or Naproxen helps.
