In brief: Could be

Plantar fasciits in the early stages typically presents with pain to the bottom of the heel after period of rest then gets better. In the chronic form the pain may persists through out the day.
I would recommend at least an xray and a specialist visit to r/o other causes.

In brief: Have you tried

Visiting a podiatrist? The longer you wait, i find the harder to treat.
I think by this time, it is safe to say, the pain is not going away.

In brief: Fasciitis +/- spur

It is likely you have plantar fasciitis with a bone spur. See a local podiatrist for possible cortisone injection.
