What are the best treatments for an 80 year old woman with femoral neck fractures?

Femoral neck tretmnt. If the fracture is not displaced and stable it can be treated with what is called per cutaneous screws . If the fracture is displaced and the person is very active and lives independently a total hip replacement should be considered. If the patient has limited activity level and is very low demand then a half a hip replacement or just replacing the ball and socket is best.
Depends. If this person is ambulatory prior to the fracture and has high cognitive functioning, then would proceed for the procedure. If this person is non-ambulatory, is on hospice, has speading cancer to the bone or has very high risk due to severe heart or lung condition, then do not proceed it. Please check with physicians.
