In brief: Yes
Many mcl tears can be treated with bracing and pt.
It depends on the location of the tear. Ask your orthopaedic surgeon.

Orthopedic Surgery
In brief: No
All mcl tears heal up completely on their own and most heal without a residual deficit, so no home remedies are necessary.
Occasionally, after a bad grade 3 complete tear heals, it has healed in such a way that it is lax making the knee mechanically unstable. The knee remains unstable and surgery is necessary to tighten it up. In those rare cases there is no home remedy to tighten it up.
