In brief: See below

Sharp neck pain usually comes from a degenerative joint or disc in the neck.
Sometimes it's from a muscle strain or sprain. Early treatment options include a short course of nsaids (advil, aleve), gentle massage, moist heat, and focusing on posture. If pain lasts greater than 2 weeks see your physician.

In brief: Treatment

A lot depends upon what treatment you have had and what your diagnosis is let's say you had a normal MRI then your pain could be muscular in origin.
Therapy and NSAID could be helpful. So, it depends on what robe doctors you consulted with found and what treatment you have had. You should see a physiatrist.
