Do I still have to wait a week before having unprotected sex when switching from trisprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) to sprintec?

No. If the switch was made with no missed days/doses in between, then there should be no period of increased fertility after the switch. With a switch from triphasic to monophasic (Tri-Sprintec to Sprintec), no matter what phase you make the switch in your progestin dose is either not changing or going up a bit, and the estrogen dose doesn't change at all. This should not cause/permit ovulation. Read more...

Is there a difference between Ortho tri cyclen (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) and sprintec? My new doctor switch me from sprintec to ortho tri cyclen (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate).

Yes. Oral contraceptive pills have 2 hormones - a progesterone and an estrogen component. Sprintec is a monophasic pill ie the progesterone and estrogen components are fixed and does not vary with the last 7 pills hormone free (inert). Ortho tricyclen, the progesterone component increases weekly up to week 3, and the last 7 pills inert. I find that there is more break through bleeding with tricyclen. Read more...

" Missing a pill by two hours" is not likely to matter very much or to make you less "protected". Consider asking your Gyn for an IUD or a subdermal implants which are much more effective and are "forgettable" methods. Read more...
