Is it okay to use a fleet enema (sodium bisphosphate) even though I have an anal fissure?

2 doctors agree

In brief: Yes

It maybe uncomfortable to insert the enema tip but there shouldn't be any problem using the enema.

I agree, but more importantly fix your constipation with more fluids and that will help you heal the fissure and reduce the constipation.

In brief: But why?

Why do you want to do that to yourself? The answer is yes, but realize it's going to hurt.
