What can I expect when go see non-surgical orthopedics for my 16 month old who isn't walking yet?

Peds. A developmental neurologic orthopedic evaluation to determine possible cause of delay in ambulation.
Multiple. The orthopedist will address any potential structural issues (clubfoot, knees not straightening, hip problems) if his exam is negative and workup is unrevealing he will probably consult neurology.
Unclear what to gain. My guess would be an evaluation of babies hips as hip dysplasia could delay walking.I could assess that in the office & with an exam & x-rays. If these are normal i would be sending you for a motor skills evaluation by a physical therapist/developmental specialist.
