In brief: Depends on dose/sex?

Propecia (finasteride) is not i dictated in women so i assume the contact will be small.
However higher doses have the potential for effecting the growth of the male internal and external genitalia. The effects on a female fetus are unknown. Certainly the most critical time for exposure is during the first trimester.
