Is restless leg problem a muscle problem or a disorder of the nervous system?

Movement Disorder. Rls is classified as a movement disorder and we believe it arises primarily in the brain. Some people have secondary RLS associated with neuropathy, herniated discs. But the muscles of the legs are generally a "problem". If you have rls, consult with a physician to see if it truly is or a symptom of another problem.
Can be veins. An often overlooked cause of restless legs syndrome (rls) is venous insufficiency. If you have RLS and varicose veins, treating your vein problem might very well make your RLS go away.
