Wound care
In brief: As long as you can
If it is a baby or young adult keep doing CPR until help arrives - in hospital we have done CPR for 30 min and revived patients.

Emergency Medicine
In brief: Until help arrives
If you (or someone else) has called 911, continue CPR until the ambulance arrives.
If you are somewhere that is inaccessible to an ambulance, continue CPR for 15-20 minutes, if the patient remains unresponsive, further CPR is incredibly unlikely that the patient can be revived.
