In brief: Depends on patient

Mobic (meloxicam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (nsiad).
Aleve (naproxen) is also an nsaid. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not an anti-inflammatory medicine. Mobic lasts longer and in most cases needs to be taken once daily. Patients react differently to nsaids. So the efficacy frequently is patient dependent.

In brief: Mighty Mobic (meloxicam)

All non-steroidal anti-inflammatories work equally well for relief of pain or fever.
They vary in their chemical structure which is what gives them different effectiveness in different people. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is entirely different from either Mobic or Aleve in its action, but is also effective for fever and pain. Our unique differences make trying different meds a good strategy for best symptom relief.
