Recovery after tubal ligation depends upon the method used if you've had general anesthesia and a procedure that entered the abdominal procedure ie a post partum tubal or laparoscopy recovery can be 5 to 7 days.
If you've had a vaginal tubal; several days. If you've had hysterscopic placement of the essure, my patient's recovery is immediate.
