Multiple. Take Ibuprofen (advil) every 4 hrs with 8oz liquid. Rinse w 1tsp salt in 8oz warm water every 4 hrs. Put orthodontic wax onto anything sticking out. Dab bezocaine in orabase onto sore spots w q-tip. Soft, high protein diet. Keep mouth immaculately clean.
Anti-inflamatories. Ibuprofen and tylenol (acetaminophen) will help with the pain, but sometimes the dentist can provide you with some clear wax to put over the obtrusive areas.
Ask your dentist. Usually it is due to pressure but this is a dentist problem.
