You should wear loose, comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the injured body area.
Dresses are never a good idea. Proper shoes for walking/exercise. Shorts for knee/leg injuries. Sports bra or bathing suit top for neck/back/shoulder injuries. Ask your therapist for their recommendations.
