In brief: Examine you

Fibromyalgia is a 'diagnosis of exclusion' which means that the blood tests done during the work up of fibromyalgia are to rule out other possible diagnoses, such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, vitamin deficiency, & others.
There is no test for fibromyalgia other than a physician taking your history & completing a thorough physical to determine if you meet the diagnostic criteria.

In brief: No right test

There are no specific tests for fibromyalgia.
On the other hand there are some tests that i run to search for the possibility of other conditions that look like fibromyalgia. Some of them include thyroid function tests, vitamin d levels, complete blood counts, liver enzyme tests and tests for hepatitis (sometimes) as well as tests for lyme disease if I have a high suspicion of this.

There are criteria that a patient must meet in order to be diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
