What is the role of the occupational therapist in brain injury rehabilitation?

Retraining. An occupational therapist will give exercises to help retrain the brain with a goal of recovery or improvement of the symptoms caused by the brain injury.
Usually retraining. The occupational therapist looks at your injuries and your regular line of work and tries to imagine what retraining is needed for you to go back to your own line of work or possibly shift your work into a new direction.
