I have had a urine test showing excess protein but seeing as I had oral thrush at the time wasnt treated, now I also have black stool?
Watch for black tarr. Repeat the urine analysis.
Black tarray stops are of major concern and are related to a bleed from the stomach, please see a physician.

Possible? These are possible findings in HIV and thus you need to get tested if you have known risk factors . However there may be other explanations should your HIV test turn out to be negative.
