1 doctor agrees

In brief: Online

There are two websites i would suggest.
.. www.aacfp.org and www.Aaop.Org. American academy of orofacial or craniofacial pain they have lists of doctors who are members who may be able to help you. A doctor with additional credentials is more likely to be helpful.. Ie fellow or diplomat... They have been tested for their expertise and knowledge.

In brief: TMJ expert

Medical "pain centers" know nothing about TMJ.
See a locally recognized TMJ specialist. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.

In brief: Ask your dentist

Dentists usually know who is good and who is questionable about most of these areas.
A membership in an organization doesn't mean the doctor is knowledgeable and can help your problems. Who would your dentist see if he/she had your conditions?
