What can I expect when I arrive at the hospital in labor?

In brief: You will deliver!

You will be fast tracked through the er, triaged by ob/gyn personell, and than depending how far you are in labor, you will be closely monitored by the OB physician on the floor. Probably you will get the us to check again if everything is ok with the baby, the fetal tracing of the heart rate will be monitored.
The doctors would need the info about your prenatal care and labs, and than congrats!
