Can you be too old to have a femoral bypass?

No. If your level of activity is still high and you have vascular disease that is treatable (and you are healthy enough to tolerate the surgery), then it is ok to have the bypass. Age alone is not a contraindication to surgery.
Maybe. Age is a poor measurement tool. If you are 60 and in really bad health, you may be too old. If you are 90 and in decent health, you may be a good candidate. Your underlying health status is a better predictor of whether or not you can have a surgery.
