In brief: YES!!!!

You water can break at any time in your pregnancy without contractions, if you think you water has broke call your provider immediately because if you are at or neat term then you need to be put in labor so you do not end up with an intrauterine infection and if u are beta sterp + u need to get started on IV antibiotics as soon as u get to the hospital.
