In brief: Yes !!!!

Do not deliver at home no one can predict future u can be totatly normal and have had a totally normal pregnancy and labor and bad things can happen like fetal distress, shoulders getting stuck( shoulder dystocia- baby can end up dead or brain damaged, if not treated promptly, post partum hemm where u can;t stop the bleeding, etc, all of these can be disasters at home, home del ok 1813 not 2013.

For some women, labor and delivery at home may be fine.
However, even for healthy, low-risk women, we never know until the baby and the placenta are out that everything is ok. If things go wrong in the hospital we can intervene rapidly. If you are at home, there can be significant delay in getting help once you realize you need it. All it takes is 4 min of decreased oxygen to damage a baby's brain.
