In brief: Wash immediately

First and foremost, prevention is the key with the use of latex gloves, masks, and if necessary, protective clothing or gown.
If exposed, wash the area immediately with copious amounts of warm soapy water for at least 30 seconds. Then report it to your employer's occupational health department and/or your doctor.
