Should ca-125 be within normal range (<35) for a healthy person or should it be zero?

In brief: Ca 125

The "normal" ca125 was established for post-menopausal women at <35 (any value 0-35).
Most premenopausal women will also have values in this range but not always since there are many benign reasons it can fluctuate. Some "healthy" women of all ages will have a level above 35! this is one of the reasons it is not effective as a screening test.

In brief: CA 125

Every person's baseline ca 125 baseline level is different.
The normal range just means that 95% of normal people had ca 125's in that range.
